Gunung Agung is a mountain sacred by Hindus in Bali. Mount Agung is the highest mountain on the island of Bali and one of the volcanoes that are still active. The last eruption occurred in 1963 which resulted in the destruction, especially in Karangasem regency. Cold lava reaches the coast gunaksa and hoards some villages at the time. Mount Agung at an altitude of 3,014 meters above sea level, on the slopes of the mountain there is the largest Temple complex in Bali with the name Besakih Temple.

For tourists who like sport climbing, they are allowed to carry out the activities here, as long as the first report to the officer who is always on guard in front of Besakih Temple area.
