Upon seeking guidance from Dang Hyang Nirartha, the community learned that Bhuta Ijo resided there. To honor the spirit and prevent disturbances, rituals and offerings, such as the lelabaan ceremony, were introduced, culminating in the construction of Petitenget Temple.

Today, Petitenget Temple remains a revered site where the local Balinese community holds regular ceremonies, especially during the temple's piodalan, which falls on Buda Cemeng Merakih (Wednesday).
